About 10 or 20 years ago I had an effects module made by a company called ART. Lots of great sounds for my guitar. And at the time I had a Yamaha keyboard that would allow me to play and record a chord pattern (say, two verses of 12-bar blues) and then have that sequence played in any of its 100 or so rhythms. So I recorded a bunch of solos on the guitar, each inspired by a different, almost random, rendition of the blues. Then I glommed them all together in Audacity and made them into a long cacophony of blues. Or something.
